Tizaa centres provide a secure and supportive environment that encourages learning. There are study rooms, libraries and computer labs open for use to the whole community. Not only do these resources help our beneficiaries improve their studies but the use of the facilities by the wider community helps promote understanding towards street children while also helping the children lose their "street culture" and adapt to life in wider society.
Previously each Tizaa had an on-site nurse to deal with health concerns. Now this is no longer necessary as Youth Alive have secured free health insurance for all beneficiaries. Now staff are trained in first aid only to deal with minor or immediate problems.
