Youth Alive aims to provide vulnerable children and youth in Northern Ghana with the opportunities to build better futures through education and vocational training.
OUR MISSION & VISION IN BASIC TERMS We give a street child a chance at life through education! Its not about giving kids handouts, its about giving them the tools to make themselves a better life!
YOU CAN HELP If you have found yourself reading this website we believe you are a person with compassion and care about the children in the world. We are a small NGO charity based in Ghana, Africa, that survives upon donations and help from the public. HANDLING OF DONATIONS Our website and all online donations are administered by our volunteer webmaster David Pain, who lives in Norway and the UK. David is closely connected to our project and has seen first hand the work we do. All online donations are made safely through Paypal.com, and then David ensures that they arrive safely to our offices in Ghana.

Big Thanks! Frode and Marte from Norway recently made an incredible donation from their wedding guests to Youth Alive. You can see below some of the pictures of the beneficiaries of their kind support to Youth Alive.
The first picture is the distribution of textbooks to pupils in basic schools. The second is Zelia who is in second year senior high school. She was assisted with school fees, a travelling bag, pocket money, bucket, mattress, books, provisions, soap which are all contained in the bag. You can see that she is a happy girl as she waits to be taken to school. Another girl, Memunatu, who has a disbaility (amputated left arm) had admission into the Tamale Polytechnic in December to read Fashion & Design. She was suported with the school fees, books, uniform, pocket money and provisions. We are very grateful to Frode and Marte and their guests, and they can know that all their monies donated went straight to helping children on the ground in Ghana.
